Loughton Garden Festival 2016

All Saints’ Church, Loughton, will be hosting a full weekend of activities for all the family on Saturday and Sunday, June 18-19th from 12noon – 5pm each day. To give everyone enough time to experience the many activities on offer, a weekend passport including a garden guide and quiz will be on offer entitling you to:
·      entry to eight local gardens, each one hosting a hidden ikon
·      access to two ‘open studios’ in the village featuring the work of 4 local artists
·      entry to the flower festival in the church.

Refreshments will be served in the Church Room, along with a raffle, plant sale, specialist displays and a ‘Promises Auction'.

In addition, there will be a concert by Heart and Music in the evening on Saturday 18 June. Heart and Music is a singing group formed in July 2010 to raise funds for good causes locally. The group comprises 12 versatile and talented performers, led by Musical Director, Malcolm Crane. They sing a wide range of items from modern musicals to classical songs, including humorous numbers and pop classics. To quote from one of our audience members, “...from the wide variety of content to the professional performances, it was all greatly appreciated”. Tickets - £10 (including wine or soft drink, and nibbles)

Come along and smell the roses, enjoy a gentle walk, admire the lovely gardens, learn something new about the art of ikons and get to know more about Loughton Village.

We aim to offer something for all both within our community and those from further afield, whilst raising much-needed funds to keep our lovely ancient church building in good repair.
